The four-five year old program is a
developmentally
appropriate skill building program, which is engaging, creative, and
interactive. Within the classroom environment the 4-5 year old child
will build
relationships with other children, engage in cooperative play, enjoy
finding
solutions to problems, and discover the WHY - WHAT - and
HOW’S of their world.
Manners, listening skills, vocalization of feelings and respect for
others is
continually being reinforced. Introduction of letters, numbers, colors,
shapes,
and name printing prepare the child for the world of Kindergarten.

The
three year old program is a flexible nurturing, “hands
on” program within a
structured environment. Children experience creative playing and
learning with
other children as they investigate and discover their world. Activities
and/or
centers are child focused, developmentally appropriate, and skill
building.
Art, cooking, and manipulative activities will
increase the three year old small motor skills. Climbing,
jumping,
throwing, and catching, along with other creative activities focus on
the
child’s large motor skills. Manners, expressive language, and
sharing is
modeled and reinforced by all Staff.
